Free Patterns: Tatted Hat Strap & Clasp (Collab & Full Tutorial)

This project is a collaborative effort, follow along as Sarah (of Dan and Sarah Makers) creates and shares a pattern for her own comfy winter cap. And then join me as I create a functional, classy, and cute tatted chin strap/clasp to add to her design to make the cap even more functional.

This tatting project is fun and very adaptable. It can be used for large projects as a strap and clasp, such as hats and purses, it can also be downsized (to size 5 needle and 10 thread for example), for use as a clothing button frog.

Also notable, is that this project introduces the use of new product supplies and less often used needle tatting techniques, to achieve a more functional, durable, and modern twist on traditional tatting. See below for supply list and helpful info.
