Scalloped Tatted Edging (Full Tutorial with Pattern)
Here is a tatted scalloped edging trim that you can add/attach to anything you like; the free pattern is shuttle tatting and needle tatting compatible. An instructional tutorial video is also embedded/linked below for needle tatters.
This project looks like two rows of tatting, but is made in one simple row, with a double ring (R) and thread spacer technique, which makes it quick to complete. It is also made with most picots joined, to create a lacey look that is easier to wash and use than many tatted edgings.

Repeat from * to** until the edging is roughly 1” shorter than the desired edging length.

Final Note: Hand-sew finished tatting onto fabric if desired, using matching sewing thread and an all-purpose sewing needle.
